The Levante blows side-offshore in Los Lances: do not head too far out to sea. Gusts near the mouth of the Jara river. In summer, buoyed swimming areas along the beach: navigate outside and use the channels.
Leave a car in Valdevaqueros (parking next to the N-340, km 75) or return via the N-340, about 10 minutes to Tarifa.
