# Dique Los Molinos - La Isla — Potrero de Garay, Argentina

West coast of Lago Los Molinos opposite the island, south of Puerto de Águila. It is an open countryside shore, without houses, with a dirt track along the lake; you launch from the shore next to a small rocky point and ride towards the east, south of the island.

It only works with south wind: the one that comes in with cold fronts, side-on along this coast, suddenly, strong and gusty. With the north wind, the main wind of the lake, the island is directly upwind of the area; on those days you ride in Los Espinillos or in Potrero de Garay.

Caution: do not go near the island or its shallows, the launch shore has rocks and the reservoir level changes. There are no services: the nearest bar and jetty are in Puerto de Águila, 1 km to the north, and are reached via dirt tracks from the west.
