# Dique Los Molinos - Potrero de Garay — Potrero de Garay, Argentina

The rounded tip of the Potrero de Garay coast, on the northern shore of Lago Los Molinos, 1.5 km north of Los Espinillos. Launching is from the dirt and grass shore left by the reservoir in front of the houses, on the east face of the point, and you ride towards the east and southeast, in front of the point and the inlet.

The main wind of the lake is the north-northeast, which comes in side-on here; it is more frequent and stronger in spring, from September to November, in the afternoon. With cold fronts, the south wind enters suddenly, stronger and gustier. Between the mountains, the wind is gusty.

Caution: the reservoir level changes and with it the width of the shore and the launch area. To the south of the point there is an inlet, a jetty and rocks on the next point. In summer there are motorboats. There are no services on the shore; there is accommodation in Potrero de Garay and it is reached via the neighbourhood streets.

- **Sur** — S (190°), 12–35 kn. South wind that enters with cold fronts: it arrives suddenly, stronger and gustier than the north. At the point it comes in side-on.. Check the front forecast: the change from north to south can be abrupt, with strong gusts.
