Fine sandy beach with a dune system between Les Palmeres and Mareny de Barraquetes (Sueca), within the Albufera Natural Park. The nautical guide of the Comunitat Valenciana lists it among the areas suitable for kitesurf, and a sign on the beach itself indicates an authorised zone for kitesurf and navigation of 200 m. The wind is the south-east thermal on spring to autumn afternoons, side-on and with strong gusts in summer: this is why the beach has become popular among windsurfers. With a Levante storm waves come in, and the winter Poniente blows offshore. Rules and services: the beach is patrolled from 10:00 to 18:00 from 15 June to 15 September and there are swimmers outside the authorised zone; do not step on the dunes. There is unsupervised parking next to the CV-50, lifeguards in season, bars on the promenade and the Les Palmeres campsite nearby.
